The  National Farmers Forum Nepal, 2009 is established on 22 February 2009 (11 Fagun 2065 BS) to advocate contemporary agricultural issues/problems and ensure farmers rights at national/international level. The "National Farmers Forum  comprises representatives from Regional Level Farmers Fora, Eastern Region (Biratnagar)  and Western Region (Pokhara).

The Farmers Fora formed comprising the representatives of the various institutionalised farmers groups/associations. The National Farmers Forum is a not-for profit, non-political and non-governmental organisation, registered with the government of Nepal (Regd. No. Ji. Pra. Ka. Kath Reg. No. 811/ 2009) and affiliated with Social Welfare Counail (SCW, Nepal Affl. No. 27303/2009).
