·       Provide a common platform to all institutionalised farmers groups/associations into a national level network for overall development of agriculture, peasantry for the transformation of subsistence farming into commercialised agricultural production.

·       Contribute in advocacy to resolve the contemporary farmers’ issues/problems to the policy makers and concerned organisations as well as works as a pressure group to ensure farmers' rights.

·       Carry out necessary studies, participatory action research, field campaign, conservation awareness hindering proper agricultural growth and peasantry.

·       Organise seminars, workshops, discussion, talk programme and publish, reports, newsletter, audio-visuals on agricultural related topics.
